Repentance and New Life – Turning from Sin to Walk in God's Ways

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”— Acts

3:19 The gospel invites us not only to believe, but also to respond — and that response begins with repentance. To repent means to turn away from sin and turn toward God. It's not just feeling sorry for wrongs we've done; it's a decisive change of heart and direction. Repentance is the gateway to new life. When we turn from sin, we aren't left in guilt or shame — we're met with grace. God wipes our sins away and refreshes our souls with His presence. Through repentance, we step into the life Jesus died and rose again to give us: a life of freedom, purpose, and joy. Repentance is not a one-time event but a daily posture. It's a continual turning of the heart toward God — choosing His ways over our own. And with every turning, we find new life, deeper intimacy with Him, and greater transformation into Christlikeness.
